The Polski jest cool A2 series is a good alternative for Slavs who have never learned Polish, but due to its similarity to their native language, learning Polish is not a big problem for them. REVIEWS

The second part of the textbook, developed for A2 level, is a faithful continuation of "POLSKI JEST COOL" A1. The first lessons repeat and systematise already known issues, and at the same time naturally introduce the learner to the next stage of learning. From the very beginning, the textbook not only allows to discover and complete any lexical and grammatical arrears of the learners, but also, being in harmony with the natural nature of communication, enables more efficient and effective mastery of the language. The modern language of texts and dialogues as well as a variety of vocabulary and grammar exercises are undoubtedly a great asset of this textbook.

I think that "POLSKI JEST COOL" A2 would be perfect at the beginning of learning in Slavic groups or for the so-called "false beginners", i.e. in the case of students who already know Polish to some extent, but need to organise their knowledge or it is their first course, and they learned the language in a natural way. What I immediately liked was the naturalness of the language, the use of phrases typical of young people, who constitute the largest percentage of people learning Polish as a foreign language. How is it going? is certainly more natural than immortal (but mostly in textbooks) Good morning to you? The issues of Polish savoir vivre discussed in the book will probably be very interesting for foreigners. Many of the questions my students ask me are about these topics. I also really liked the publication of the application form for granting a temporary residence permit to a foreigner. This is what students expect – “life” topics and practical skills. I am very glad that this textbook was written.

Earlier, I taught from several other books for learning Polish as a foreign language. Someone offered me "POLSKI JEST COOL" and since then I have been teaching Polish to groups of adults in Denver using only this textbook. The material is presented in a simple and accessible way for students. The chapters contain rich vocabulary and key principles, and there are additional exercises at the end of the book. Thanks to the "POLSKI JEST COOL" series, I teach in a much more disciplined way, giving foreigners a chance to comfortably and logically absorb subsequent batches of material and improve their language skills. "POLSKI JEST COOL" are definitely the best books for learning Polish as a foreign language. My students are already looking forward to the new textbooks at the A2 level. And we are already waiting for levels B and C!
